Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences

To promote our services, we use the advertising tools of third-party platforms, including Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and may use other advertising networks (such as Google). As part of this, we may share a "hashed" (cryptographically transformed) version of your contact details — such as your email address — with these platforms so that they can:

  1. match it against their own users and show our advertisements to you on their services (a "Custom Audience"); and
  2. create audiences of other people whose characteristics are similar to our customers, so that we can show our advertisements to new potential customers (a "Lookalike" or similar audience).

Your contact details are transmitted in hashed form and are used by these platforms for matching purposes on our behalf. We do not use these platforms to send you email; your email address is used only as an identifier to match you to your account on those platforms.

Legal basis

Where you are located in the EU/EEA or another jurisdiction that requires it, we rely on your consent for this processing or, where permitted, on our legitimate interest in promoting our services in a way that does not override your rights. Opting out will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your withdrawal.
